Responsabilidad Integral Colombia

Responsible Care® fue desarrolladawas developed by the Canadian Association of Chemical Producers (CCPA) in 1985 Since then, it has been extended to the five continents. Currently 52 countries are implementing this initiative.

World wide it is guided by the International Council of Chemical Associations - ICCA and supported by the most important Associations and Federations of the chemical sector, such as:

Responsible Care® was officially inadopted in Colombia in 1994 by 36 of the most important companies in the Country, with the support of the Republic President Cesar Gaviria Trujillo, under the denomination of Responsabilidad Integral® Colombia. It is coordinated by three National Entities:

Now days, almost 60 companies are members of this initiative, and although they represented just 0.67% of the 9.054 more important companies in the Country. In 2004, they reached in the Country a participation percentages as follows:
